Yore-Tiller (4-color, no green) Commander Combos

Yore-Tiller — white, blue, black, and red without green — is the combo color identity of blink loops, artifact engines, and graveyard recursion. The absence of green means no Natural Order, no Cultivate, no green ramp package at all; the payoff is access to blue's countermagic and draw, white's flicker effects, black's tutors, and red's chaotic ritual mana. Combos in this space tend to win through ETB and LTB loop abuse rather than mana doubling, and they often require more pieces than green-inclusive piles do.

The most-played line in this identity runs Smothering Tithe alongside Underworld Breach and Whispering Madness to generate infinite looting and draw triggers for all players — a wheel engine that converts opponents' card draw into Treasure tokens and then breaks parity through Breach to keep looping. It's a legitimate competitive package that shows up in blue-black-red and four-color shells alike.

The Cadric, Soul Kindler and Aminatou, the Fateshifter pairing is the defining blink loop of the identity. Cadric copies legendary permanents as nonlegendary tokens; Aminatou blinks Cadric; the loop generates infinite ETB and LTB triggers off whatever legends are in play. Sol Ring and Temple of the False God both thread into this line to also produce infinite colorless mana, meaning the engine converts a two-card commander pairing into a full kill with the right support pieces in the 99.

Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter with Dross Scorpion and Skullclamp under Encroaching Mycosynth is a representative example of how artifact-heavy this identity plays at lower-popularity tiers — converting artifact tokens into card draw through sacrifice loops, leaning on Mycosynth to push noncreature permanents into the artifact type so Scorpion can untap Jansen repeatedly.

Medomai the Ageless with Idris, Soul of the TARDIS produces an infinite-turns lock through proliferate, which is distinctly Yore-Tiller territory — blue-white extra turns, black and red enabling the support infrastructure. The proliferate enabler (Karn's Bastion, Biotransference, or The Flesh Is Weak) is interchangeable, making the two-card core relatively robust to answer.

The through-line across all of these is that Yore-Tiller combos pivot on blinking and replaying permanents rather than generating large amounts of mana naturally. Without green's ramp, these decks compensate with tighter interaction and faster tutors, which makes them dangerous but also more fragile when key pieces get answered.
