Arid Mesa's fetch triggers both Sarinth Greatwurm and Kodama of the East Tree; the Kodama trigger lands Ghost Town from hand, which immediately bounces itself back to generate another Kodama trigger off the entering Powerstone token. The whole chain runs off a single fetch payment of 1 life, requiring only that Ghost Town returns to hand before each loop iteration — which its own zero-cost ability guarantees.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
It is not your turn. There is a land card in your library that can be fetched using Arid Mesa. Your life total is at least 2.
02
Steps
- Fetch a land using Arid Mesa.
- When the fetched land enters, Sarinth Greatwurm and Kodama trigger.
- Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting Ghost Town from your hand onto the battlefield.
- When Ghost Town enters, Kodama and Sarinth Greatwurm trigger.
- Holding priority, activate Ghost Town's first abiltiy by tapping it, adding
.
- Activate Ghost Town's second ability by paying
, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
- Resolve the Sarinth Greatwurm from step 4, creating a token.
- When the token enters, Kodama triggers, putting Ghost Town from your hand onto the battlefield.
- When Ghost Town enters, Sarinth Greatwurm triggers.
- Repeat from step 5.

Result
Infinite colorless mana; Infinite landfall triggers; Infinite tapped Powerstone tokens
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Any fetchland can start the chain in place of Arid Mesa as long as it pulls a legal target from the library, so Misty Rainforest, Windswept Heath, or any color-legal fetch works as a redundant copy. The loop produces infinite Powerstone tokens but those tap only for colorless, so pair it with a payoff that accepts colorless — Goblin Cannon, Walking Ballista, or Staff of Domination converts the mana into a win; without one, the combo is an engine that still needs a closer.
