Kodama of the East Tree + Ghost Town + Tireless Provisioner + Arid Mesa

4-card combo · G

Verdict

Yes — this 4-piece loop converts a single fetch land activation into infinite landfall triggers, infinite Treasure tokens, and infinite mana inside any green landfall shell.

Arid Mesa's fetch triggers both Kodama of the East Tree and Tireless Provisioner; Kodama puts Ghost Town onto the battlefield for free, and Ghost Town's second ability returns itself to hand at zero cost, resetting the loop. Tireless Provisioner converts every landfall into a Treasure or Food, and because Ghost Town also generates a colorless mana before bouncing, the engine is self-funding once the first fetch fires. This is squarely at home in Kodama of the East Tree lists paired with a second commander like Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait or Atraxa, Praetors' Voice that also wants landfall density.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

It is not your turn. There is a land card in your library that can be fetched using Arid Mesa. Your life total is at least 2.

02

Steps

  1. Fetch a land using Arid Mesa.
  2. When the fetched land enters, Tireless Provisioner and Kodama trigger.
  3. Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting Ghost Town from your hand onto the battlefield.
  4. When Ghost Town enters, Kodama and Tireless Provisioner trigger.
  5. Holding priority, activate Ghost Town's first abiltiy by tapping it, adding {C}.
  6. Activate Ghost Town's second ability by paying {0}, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  7. Resolve the Tireless Provisioner from step 4, creating a token.
  8. When the token enters, Kodama triggers, putting Ghost Town from your hand onto the battlefield.
  9. When Ghost Town enters, Tireless Provisioner triggers.
  10. Repeat from step 5.

03

Result

Infinite colored mana; Infinite colorless mana; Infinite lifegain triggers; Infinite lifegain; Infinite Treasure tokens; Infinite landfall triggers; Infinite Food tokens

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Any fetchland replaces Arid Mesa — Windswept Heath, Misty Rainforest, or even Fabled Passage all initiate the same chain as long as a fetchable land remains in the library. The loop generates tokens but no direct win condition; pair with Haywire Mite as a drain outlet or sacrifice the Treasures into a Walking Ballista to close — Tireless Provisioner builds the ammunition, the pilot pulls the trigger.
