Super-Skrull copies the abilities of all four Fantastic Four members simultaneously, which means you're getting stretch, invisibility, flame, and rock-hard durability stapled to one body — that's a staggering amount of text for a single card slot. The catch is that it's a Universes Beyond card legal only in Eternal formats, and it currently sits in none of them.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | not legal |
| legacy | not legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | not legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | not legal |
Super-Skrull is not legal in any sanctioned format as of now — Commander, Legacy, Vintage, Modern, Pioneer, Standard, Pauper, and Oathbreaker all exclude it. That's the full wall: not a ban, just absence from the legal card pool across the board. If Wizards extends Universes Beyond legality further or releases an in-universe functional reprint, that calculus changes immediately. Until then, Super-Skrull lives in casual and unofficial play exclusively.

Cheaper options that do most of the same work
Since Super-Skrull's appeal is stacking multiple keyword-rich ability suites onto one card, Cairn Wanderer and Odric, Lunarch Marshal both approximate that effect in formats where they're actually legal — Cairn Wanderer steals abilities from graveyards, Odric spreads keywords you already have in play. Neither replicates the exact Fantastic Four flavor, but either gives you the "one creature, many abilities" payoff that makes Super-Skrull compelling without the legality wall.
Price Context
Current price
$34.00 premium tier
At $34.00, Super-Skrull sits firmly in premium collectible territory — you're paying for the IP and the novelty as much as the card itself. Whether that holds depends entirely on continued casual demand for Marvel Universes Beyond cards; it has no competitive floor to anchor the price.
