Life and Limb turns all Forests into 1/1 Saproling creatures; Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth makes every land a Forest, so the two enchantments together convert the entire board into creature-lands. Linvala, Keeper of Silence then blankets all of those creature-lands under its lockout, stripping opponents of mana activation and creature abilities in one static trigger.

How it works
01
Prerequisites
—
02
Steps
- Life and Limb and Yavimaya cause all lands to be 1/1 Saproling creatures that are also Forests in addition to their other types.
- Because Linvala prevents your opponents from activating abilities of creatures they control, your opponents cannot activate abilities of lands or creatures they control.
03
Result
Opponents can't activate abilities of lands or creatures they control; Lock; Mass Land Denial
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
The lock wins the game only if the pilot can actually win through it — Linvala alone does nothing offensive, so pair this with an aggressive beater or an alternative win condition already in hand. Collector Ouphe and Null Rod handle artifacts while the lock is assembled; Grand Abolisher protects the stack during setup. If Linvala is removed, the lock collapses entirely since Life and Limb plus Yavimaya without Linvala just gives opponents Saproling mana-dorks.
