Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth turns all lands into Forests; Living Lands turns all Forests into 1/1 creatures; Drana and Linvala's static ability then reads across the board and kills every tap ability on every land and creature your opponents own. The result is a hard lock — no mana, no activated abilities, all from a Bant-adjacent commander slot that already wants hate pieces.

How it works
01
Prerequisites
—
02
Steps
- Living Lands and Yavimaya cause all lands to be 1/1 creatures that are also Forests in addition to their other types.
- Because Drana and Linvala prevents your opponents from activating abilities of creatures they control, your opponents cannot activate abilities of lands or creatures they control.
03
Result
Opponents can't activate abilities of lands or creatures they control; Lock; Mass Land Denial
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Drana and Linvala is the non-negotiable piece, but Yavimaya is replaceable in green-heavy metas where opponents already run basic Forests — Living Lands alone closes the loop against those boards. If mass enchantment removal is a concern, Privileged Position or Teferi's Protection keeps Living Lands on the field long enough to matter.
