Morophon, the Boundless reduces Saffi Eriksdotter to free, which is the entire engine — Saffi protects Eternal Witness from Goblin Bombardment's sacrifice, Eternal Witness returns Saffi to hand, and each loop pings a target for 1. The combo sits in a 5-color Humans or Scouts shell where Morophon already serves as commander and cost reducer, so the pieces aren't dead draws on their own.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

"Human" or "Scout" chosen with Morophon.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Eternal Witness.
  2. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Eternal Witness.
  3. When Eternal Witness dies, Saffi triggers, returning Eternal Witness from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  4. When Eternal Witness enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Saffi from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
  6. Cast Saffi by paying {0} due to Morophon.
  7. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite damage; Infinite death triggers; Infinite ETB; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers; Infinite storm count

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Any free sacrifice outlet that deals damage — Thermopod or Makeshift Munitions — can replace Goblin Bombardment if it's removed. Morophon naming Human is the more populated shell since Eternal Witness and Saffi Eriksdotter are both Humans, giving redundancy through Cavern of Souls and tribal tutors; the Scout line is narrower and harder to assemble.
