Conspiracy naming Angel makes Body Double an Angel on entry, which means Bishop of Wings triggers on every ETB and death in the loop — four life gained each time a creature enters, a 1/1 Spirit created each time one dies. Lightning Greaves equips for free, giving Priest of Fell Rites and Body Double the haste and shroud needed to activate and sacrifice immediately without passing priority. The combo is resident in Esper Angel commanders like Giada, Font of Hope or Oloro, Ageless Ascetic, where Conspiracy is already pulling weight by turning non-Angels into the tribe.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

"Angel" chosen with Conspiracy. Your life total is at least four.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Lightning Greaves' equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Priest of Fell Rites.
  2. Activate Priest of Fell Rites by paying three life, tapping and sacrificing it.
  3. When Priest of Fell Rites dies, Bishop of Wings' second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
  4. When the Spirit enters the battlefield, Bishop of Wings' first ability triggers, causing you to gain four life.
  5. Resolve the Priest of Fell Rites ability, returning Body Double from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Priest of Fell Rites.
  6. When Body Double enters the battlefield, Bishop of Wings' first ability triggers, causing you to gain four life.
  7. Activate Lightning Greaves' equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Body Double.
  8. Activate Body Double by paying three life, tapping and sacrificing it.
  9. When Body Double dies, Bishop of Wings' second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
  10. When the Spirit enters the battlefield, Bishop of Wings' first ability triggers, causing you to gain four life.
  11. Resolve the Body Double ability, returning Priest of Fell Rites from your graveyard to the battlefield.

  13. Repeat.

Result

Infinite creature tokens; Infinite death triggers; Infinite ETB; Infinite lifegain; Infinite lifegain triggers; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

The five-card ask is steep — Altar of Dementia or Blasting Station can replace the kill role if the combo is trimmed, but all five pieces are load-bearing. Conspiracy is the hardest cut; without it Body Double's death doesn't feed Bishop of Wings, so there's no clean substitute for that slot. If Lightning Greaves is answered, Swiftfoot Boots is the direct swap — the loop needs haste on the sacrificers or it stalls on summoning sickness.
