Temur Sabertooth + Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Lightning Greaves

3-card combo · G

Verdict

Yes — this 3-card loop generates infinite green mana and infinite ETB/LTB triggers the moment a 7-power creature is on the board.

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds taps for at least 5 mana when a creature with power 7 or greater is in play; Lightning Greaves equips for free to give Selvala haste immediately after it's recast, and Temur Sabertooth's {1}{G} activation bounces Selvala back to hand to restart the loop. The combo slots naturally into any mono-green stompy shell — Selvala, Heart of the Wilds as the commander hits both conditions herself, and creatures like Ghalta, Primal Hunger or Craterhoof Behemoth are already in those lists.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You control a creature other than Selvala that has power 7 or greater.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Lightning Greaves' equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Selvala.
  2. Activate Selvala by paying {G} and tapping it, adding at least {3}{G}{G}{G}{G}.
  3. Activate Temur Sabertooth by paying {1}{G}, returning Selvala from the battlefield to your hand.
  4. Cast Selvala by paying {1}{G}{G}.
  5. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite LTB; Infinite ETB; Infinite colored mana; Infinite storm count; Infinite blinking

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Wirewood Lodge replaces Lightning Greaves if haste isn't available, though it requires an extra Forest untap step and doesn't give Selvala protection. Once mana goes infinite, sink it into Hydra Omnivore, Walking Ballista, or any payoff already in the 99 — the engine doesn't kill on its own.
