Yes — this 5-card loop generates infinite death triggers, ETBs, and storm count in any Jund shell that can assemble the pieces.

Tuktuk Rubblefort is the often-overlooked load-bearing piece here: it grants haste to Doomed Necromancer, which means the Necromancer can activate the turn it's cast, immediately sacrificing itself to recur Eternal Witness and restart the chain. Pitiless Plunderer converts each death into a Treasure, funding the {B} Doomed Necromancer needs to activate and the {2}{B} to recast it from hand — Ashnod's Altar supplies the colorless surplus. The loop requires all five permanents in play, which makes it a demanding setup for a Jund value commander like Korvold, Fae-Cursed King or Prossh, Skyraider of Kher.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

02

Steps

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Eternal Witness, adding {C}{C}.
  2. When Eternal Witness dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
  3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding {B}.
  4. Activate Doomed Necromancer by paying {B}, tapping it and sacrificing it.
  5. When Doomed Necromancer dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
  6. Resolve the Doomed Necromancer ability, returning Eternal Witness from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  7. When Eternal Witness enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Doomed Necromancer from your graveyard to your hand.
  8. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding {B}.
  9. Cast Doomed Necromancer by paying {2}{B}.
  10. Repeat.

Result

Infinite death triggers; Infinite ETB; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers; Infinite storm count

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Thousand-Year Elixir or Lightning Greaves can replace Tuktuk Rubblefort as the haste enabler — both are more broadly useful in artifact-heavy lists and less likely to be dead draws on their own. The loop produces no direct damage; pair it with Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, or Impact Tremors to close the game, since infinite storm count alone does nothing without a payoff already on the battlefield.
