Arid Mesa's crack puts Ghost Town into a permanent bounce loop: Kodama of the East Tree drops it from hand each time a permanent enters, and Maja, Bretagard Protector creates a 1/1 token off every land entering, which re-triggers Kodama to replay Ghost Town again. The engine only runs on an opponent's turn because Ghost Town's return-to-hand ability requires it not be your turn, which is the combo's hardest constraint to explain at the table.

Prerequisites

It is not your turn. There is a land card in your library that can be fetched using Arid Mesa. Your life total is at least 2.

Steps

Fetch a land using Arid Mesa.
When the fetched land enters, Maja and Kodama trigger.
Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting Ghost Town from your hand onto the battlefield.
When Ghost Town enters, Kodama and Maja trigger.
Holding priority, activate Ghost Town's first abiltiy by tapping it, adding .
Activate Ghost Town's second ability by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
Resolve the Maja from step 4, creating a token.
When the token enters, Kodama triggers, putting Ghost Town from your hand onto the battlefield.
When Ghost Town enters, Maja triggers.
Repeat from step 5.
