Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Altar of Dementia is the only kill condition baked into the loop; swap it for Blasting Station if targeted mill is answered, since Eternal Witness dying every cycle satisfies the trigger the same way. Eternal Witness is the hardest piece to replace given the double duty it pulls — Regrowth effects won't work since the loop needs a creature on the battlefield to sacrifice — but Timeless Witness functions identically if a fourth color isn't a concern.
