Amulet of Vigor turns every tapped land into an untapped one, which means bounce lands, depletion lands, and slow duals stop costing you tempo entirely. One mana on turn one, and commanders like Lumra, Bellow of the Woods or any deck leaning on Shifting Woodland get to treat their whole land package as if it were basics.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Lumra, Bellow of the Woods
Lumra, Bellow of the Woods mills lands into play tapped, so Amulet of Vigor converts every hit into immediate mana — the more lands Lumra puts into play, the more explosive the payoff.

Nine-Fingers Keene
Nine-Fingers Keene runs a dense package of Simic bounce lands to repeatedly replay for landfall triggers, and Amulet of Vigor makes each bounce land enter untapped, collapsing what would be a tempo loss into pure acceleration.

Roxanne, Starfall Savant
Roxanne, Starfall Savant creates Meteor tokens that enter tapped, and Amulet of Vigor untaps them immediately — turning what would be a delayed mana rock into a real ramp piece the same turn it arrives.

The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride
The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride feeds on land drops to generate card advantage, and Amulet of Vigor ensures that every land entering tapped — fetchlands, duals, utility lands — still produces mana the turn it arrives, keeping the engine moving without stutter.

Toph, Hardheaded Teacher
Toph, Hardheaded Teacher puts lands into play from the top of libraries, many of which enter tapped, and Amulet of Vigor converts each one into an untapped land drop so the mana base keeps pace with the snowballing board state.

In Commander, Amulet of Vigor is a staple in any deck that deliberately runs tapped lands — bounce lands, Ravnica duals, slow tap-duals, or any land that enters tapped as part of an engine. Modern has a dedicated Amulet Titan archetype built almost entirely around it, using bounce lands and Primeval Titan to generate obscene amounts of mana in the early turns. Legacy and Vintage are legal formats but the card rarely sees play there, since those environments punish one-mana do-nothing artifacts and the land packages rarely feature enough enter-tapped lands to justify the slot. Amulet of Vigor is not legal in Pioneer, Standard, or Pauper, so its competitive life is split between Commander tables and the Modern Titan shell.

Price data for Amulet of Vigor isn't available in this snapshot, so check Scryfall or your preferred vendor for a current number. Historically it has carried a meaningful price tag due to its role as a four-of in Modern Amulet Titan, which keeps demand steady even as new printings periodically bring the cost down.
