Splendid Reclamation card art
Splendid Reclamation returns all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped — one card converting every fetch, sacrifice, and discard outlet into a board-state reset. Pairing it with Mirrorpool gives you a copy on demand, and Hearthhull, the Worldseed turns each land entering into a threat in its own right.

Lord Windgrace

Lord Windgrace

66.4% of decks · synergy 0.52

Lord Windgrace discards lands to fuel his second ability and draws more to fill the graveyard back up — Splendid Reclamation cashes in that entire pile, often recovering a full turn's worth of mana in one spell.

The Gitrog Monster

The Gitrog Monster

50.3% of decks · synergy 0.47

The Gitrog Monster draws cards every time a land hits the graveyard, and Splendid Reclamation moving a heap of lands from graveyard to battlefield is the kind of mass movement that pushes card advantage deep into extra-turn territory.

Commander is where Splendid Reclamation earns its keep — graveyard-heavy land strategies have enough support pieces there to consistently put five or more lands in the bin before turn four, making the sorcery read as an asymmetric ritual as much as a recovery spell. In Modern and Pioneer it sees occasional fringe play in dedicated land-sacrifice or self-mill strategies, but the four-mana sorcery speed is a real liability in those formats without a reliable engine already in place. Legacy and Vintage offer the power density for broken setups but rarely need Splendid Reclamation specifically when other lines are faster. It's a Commander card through and through.

Price Context

Current price

$1.49 cheap tier

At $1.49, Splendid Reclamation sits in the cheap tier — easy to pick up and rarely the budget bottleneck in any deck that wants it. The price is unlikely to move significantly given multiple printings, so there's no urgency, but no reason to wait either.
