Priest of Titania taps for one mana per Elf on the battlefield — in a loaded Elf deck, that's routinely five to ten mana from a two-mana creature. Staff of Domination turns that output into a full engine, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader converts it into a lethal alpha strike.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Ezuri, Renegade Leader
Ezuri, Renegade Leader appears in over 90% of Ezuri decks precisely because Priest of Titania feeds his regeneration and Overrun activations — both abilities hungry for green mana the Priest supplies in bulk.

Dionus, Elvish Archdruid
Dionus, Elvish Archdruid rewards flooding the board with Elves, and Priest of Titania converts that critical mass directly into the mana needed to keep playing them.

Tyvar the Bellicose
Tyvar the Bellicose lets Elves tap for mana as though they had an activated ability, which means Priest of Titania effectively doubles as both a mana producer and a payoff trigger in the same turn.

Voja, Jaws of the Conclave
Voja, Jaws of the Conclave incentivizes stacking Elves and Wolves, and Priest of Titania ensures the growing board translates into the mana required to keep that engine moving.

Marwyn, the Nurturer
Marwyn, the Nurturer and Priest of Titania are parallel mana engines — running both means the deck can generate overwhelming green mana even if one gets answered.

Commander is the natural home for Priest of Titania — four players means more Elves in play at once, so the mana ceiling is higher than in any other format. In Legacy, it sees fringe play in Elf combo shells where the density of Elves makes it a faster alternative to Gaea's Cradle in budget builds. Pauper Elves also uses it as a core piece, since the format's common restriction makes every efficient mana source count. Modern and Pioneer have enough lord-based Elf synergies, but faster threats and removal make a tap-to-produce creature harder to protect — Priest of Titania sits at the edge of viability there.

$0.99 bulk tier
At $0.99, Priest of Titania is a bulk rare with outsized impact — it's been reprinted often enough to keep the price low despite appearing in the majority of competitive Elf builds. For what it does in Commander, a dollar is one of the strongest returns on investment in the format.
