Patrician's Scorn

In Commander, Patrician's Scorn occupies a narrow but real niche: it answers enchantment-heavy boards without costing a card slot's worth of mana, which matters when you're tapping out for your own threats. Legacy and Vintage have faster and more targeted answers, and the 'cast a white spell this turn' condition is a real constraint in those formats where you may not be casting anything — Patrician's Scorn sees essentially zero competitive play there. Pauper is where it has the most theoretical reach outside Commander, since enchantment removal at common is limited, but the meta rarely demands a mass answer. For Commander players running white, it's a legitimate sideboard-adjacent consideration against Zur the Enchanter, Sythis, or any table running Nine Lives as a lock piece.
