Tranquility wipes every enchantment from the board for three mana at sorcery speed — clean, unconditional, and totally symmetrical. If you need a one-sided answer, Fractured Identity does more work; if you just need enchantments gone and budget is the constraint, this is the call.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Tranquility is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, and it's essentially only relevant in Pauper and Commander. In Pauper, enchantment-heavy strategies are real enough that a three-mana sweeper earns a sideboard slot. In Commander, Tranquility sits at the budget floor for mass enchantment removal — it gets the job done against Enchantress builds or Aura-stacked boards, but the symmetry is a real cost in a four-player game where someone at the table probably wanted those enchantments gone less than you did.

Current price
$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Tranquility is pure bulk — you're essentially getting it for free in any order. That price is a floor, not a future floor; there's no demand pressure that would move a card this replaceable.
