Commander is where Adeline, Resplendent Cathar is genuinely oppressive — with three opponents, she produces three tokens per attack step, and her power can hit four or five naturally in a creature-heavy board state. In Modern and Pioneer she sees fringe play in aggressive white or Humans shells, where the token production on a 1WW body is real value even if opponents can more efficiently answer her. Legacy has redundancy that eclipses her, and Vintage doesn't care about fair three-drops. Oathbreaker is a reasonable home if your signature spell supports the token plan.
