Super-Skrull + Smothering Tithe + Mondrak, Glory Dominus
3-card combo · WUBRG
Verdict
Yes — this 3-card loop turns Smothering Tithe and Mondrak into a self-funding Treasure engine that drowns opponents in forced draws while growing Super-Skrull without limit.

Super-Skrull's fourth ability costs 5U and forces an opponent to draw four cards; Smothering Tithe fires four triggers, and with Mondrak on the battlefield each unpaid trigger creates two Treasure tokens instead of one — netting six Treasures against a single opponent who can't pay. That refunds 5U exactly, making every loop free and generating near-infinite tokens, mana, and a continuously growing Super-Skrull. The combo lives in 5-color goodstuff shells that already want Smothering Tithe and a token doubler; Mondrak is the critical piece since it doubles the Treasure output from two to four per trigger.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
An opponent cannot pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger more than once. If the opponent can pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger more times, you can still perform the combo if you have enough mana to outlast their mana supply. You can also continue this combo for other opponents if mana allows. The extra mana can be used to activate any of Super-Skrull's abilities.
02
Steps
- Activate Super-Skrull's fourth ability by paying
, causing an opponent to draw four cards.
- Smothering Tithe triggers four times, causing you to create two Treasure tokens for each time the opponent cannot pay for the trigger.
- Activate six Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding
.
- Repeat.
03
Result
Infinite card draw for any number of opponents; Infinite draw triggers for any number of opponents; Near-infinite ETB; Near-infinite Treasure tokens; Near-infinite card draw; Near-infinite colored mana; Near-infinite creature tokens; Near-infinite draw triggers; Near-infinitely large creature until end of turn
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Any token-doubling permanent — Anointed Procession, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, or Doubling Season — slots in for Mondrak as the multiplier, though Mondrak's indestructibility mode makes it the most resilient choice. If an opponent can pay for one or two triggers, the loop still sustains as long as Treasure output exceeds 6; running a second doubler alongside Mondrak covers that gap. The near-infinite Treasures naturally close with any mana sink in play — Torment of Hailfire or a lethal Walking Ballista ends the game immediately.
