Zirda, the Dawnwaker reduces Sunforger's equip cost to 1 and Barkform Harvester's activation to 2, making the loop self-sustaining: Jeska's Will generates the red needed to keep reattaching and refiring Sunforger, Big Score replaces itself and produces the Treasures that pay for reequipping, and Barkform Harvester puts both instants back into the library to find again. The six-card-in-hand prerequisite for Jeska's Will is the real gating condition — it resolves cleanly early in a game but can misfire by turn 3 if opponents are hellbent.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

An opponent has six or more cards in hand.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Sunforger by paying {R}{W} and unattaching it, searching your library for Jeska's Will and casting it without paying its mana cost, adding at least six {R}.
  2. Activate Sunforger's equip ability by paying {1}, attaching it to Zirda.
  3. Activate Sunforger by paying {R}{W} and unattaching it, searching your library for Big Score and casting it without paying its mana cost and discarding a card.
  4. Resolve Big Score, causing you to draw two cards and create two Treasures.
  5. Activate Sunforger's equip ability by paying {1}, attaching it to Zirda.
  6. Activate Barkform Harvester twice by paying {2}, putting Big Score and Jeska's Will from your graveyard onto the bottom of your library.
  7. Activate two Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding {W}{W}.
  8. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite draw triggers; Near-infinite storm count; Near-infinite self-discard triggers; Near-infinite magecraft triggers; Near-infinite card draw; Near-infinite red mana

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

The opponent hand-size requirement makes this fragile to wheel effects and aggressive mulligans; prioritize assembling the loop before players dump their hands. Any Boros storm payoff closes it — Aetherflux Reservoir counts the storm, Aria of Flame converts magecraft triggers into damage, and Sunforger itself can go find either one mid-loop if they aren't already on the battlefield.
