Goldspan Dragon is the multiplier — tapping and sacrificing three of those Treasures produces 4UU, which more than covers the 5U activation cost and keeps the loop running. If the opponent can pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger more times, you can still perform the combo if you have enough mana to outlast their mana supply. You can also continue this combo for other opponents if mana allows. The extra mana can be used to activate any of Super-Skrull's abilities.
