Teleportation Circle blinks Eternal Witness at end step, which returns Time Stretch from the graveyard to hand; casting it again produces two more extra turns, one of which triggers the loop again. The combo lives in Bant goodstuff shells — Roon of the Hidden Realm, Chulane, Teller of Tales, or any commander that already wants a blink engine and green recursion in the same 99. The table sees the first Time Stretch resolve and, if Teleportation Circle survives, the game ends.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

02

Steps

  1. Cast Time Stretch by paying {8}{U}{U}, causing you to take two extra turns after this one.
  2. At the beginning of your end step, Teleportation Circle triggers, blinking Eternal Witness.
  3. When Eternal Witness enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Time Stretch to your hand from your graveyard.
  4. Repeat during each even-numbered extra turn.

Result

Infinite turns; Lock

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Conjurer's Closet replaces Teleportation Circle as the blink engine if white is unavailable or the Circle gets removed — same end-step trigger, same result. Regrowth or Noxious Revival can substitute for Eternal Witness in a pinch, though neither recurs itself. The 10-mana entry cost is the real bottleneck; Seedborn Muse or Wilderness Reclamation make the first casting far easier to land through interaction.
