Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Temur Sabertooth is the tighter Kogla substitute, bouncing Eternal Witness for two colorless instead of requiring the ape's specific activated cost, and it's harder to remove mid-combo since it can protect itself. Any creature with power 9 or more satisfies Selvala's prerequisite — Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or Impervious Greatwurm already belong in the shell and double as closers once mana is infinite; add Hoof or Finale of Devastation to end the game on the same turn.
