Turnabout untaps all lands after Ghostly Flicker returns everything to the hand; Eternal Witness and Ardent Elementalist bounce back both spells from the graveyard each loop, resetting the engine. The combo requires seven mana minimum to start but goes net-positive at eight, so any Temur commander that accelerates into the mid-game — Riku of Two Reflections, Riku of Many Paths, or Kenrith, the Returned King — can slot this as a primary line.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

Lands you control can tap to produce at least {4}{U}{U}{U}. If lands you control can tap to produce at least {5}{U}{U}{U}, this combo nets infinite mana. You can then stop casting Turnabout and blink one other permanent using Ghostly Flicker. You may also tap artifacts and/or creatures instead for mana if desired.

02

Steps

  1. Activate any number of lands you control by tapping them, adding at least {4}{U}{U}{U}.
  2. Cast Turnabout by paying {2}{U}{U}, untapping all lands you control.
  3. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying {2}{U}, blinking Ardent Elementalist and Eternal Witness.
  4. When Ardent Elementalist and Eternal Witness enter the battlefield, they trigger, returning Turnabout and Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite LTB; Infinite ETB; Infinite storm count; Infinite magecraft triggers; Infinite blinking; Infinite landfall triggers; Infinite mana permanents you control can produce

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Peregrine Drake or Great Whale can substitute for Turnabout if the deck is already running bounce-blink synergies, though they require the full flicker package to loop. Once mana goes infinite, any ETB payoff closes the game — Thassa's Oracle mills the pilot out immediately, and Purphoros, God of the Forge converts each blink into two damage per creature entering, finishing the table without needing a full draw loop.
