Verdict

Yes — this 4-card loop generates infinite ETB triggers and infinite mana in any Simic shell that can hit seven mana to start.

Turnabout untaps all lands after paying its own cost, Ghostly Flicker blinks Eternal Witness and Skullwinder to return both spells to hand, and the loop repeats indefinitely. Skullwinder's ETB forces a target opponent to recur their graveyard each cycle — a political wrinkle that's irrelevant when the table is already dead, but worth noting. This lives in Simic goodstuff and spellslinger builds like Rashmi, Eternities Crafter or Kalamax, the Stormsire that already run the Witness package.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

Lands you control can tap to produce at least {4}{U}{U}{U}. If lands you control can tap to produce at least {5}{U}{U}{U}, this combo nets infinite mana. You can then stop casting Turnabout and blink one other permanent using Ghostly Flicker. You may also tap artifacts and/or creatures instead for mana if desired.

02

Steps

  1. Activate any number of lands you control by tapping them, adding at least {4}{U}{U}{U}.
  2. Cast Turnabout by paying {2}{U}{U}, untapping all lands you control.
  3. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying {2}{U}, blinking Eternal Witness and Skullwinder.
  4. When Eternal Witness and Skullwinder enter the battlefield, they trigger, returning Turnabout and Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite LTB; Infinite ETB; Infinite storm count; Infinite magecraft triggers; Infinite blinking; Infinite landfall triggers; Infinite mana permanents you control can produce; Target opponent returns all cards in their graveyard to their hand

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Eternal Witness can be replaced by Timeless Witness for identical function; Skullwinder's slot is harder to swap since it must return a card to an opponent's hand on ETB to complete the recursion cycle. The loop produces infinite ETBs but still needs a payoff — Thassa's Oracle or Aetherflux Reservoir closes cleanly, and the infinite landfall triggers make Retreat to Coralhelm a live wincon if creature-based lines are already in the deck.
