Ephemerate's rebound does the heavy lifting: the initial cast blinks Eternal Witness to recover Temporal Manipulation, and the free rebound trigger on the following upkeep blinks Witness again to recover Ephemerate itself. The loop costs 5 mana to start and 1U each subsequent turn — any Bant shell with Eternal Witness already in it is one Ephemerate away from locking the table out permanently.

Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Time Warp and Capture of Jingzhou are direct substitutes for Temporal Manipulation — same mana cost, same effect, swap freely based on availability. Season of Renewal can replace Ephemerate if the blink piece is exiled, though it breaks the rebound recursion and requires manual reassembly each turn. Aminatou, the Fateshifter or Brago, King Eternal as commanders give the shell redundant blink vectors that don't depend on Ephemerate surviving to rebound.
