Verdict

Yes — this 4-card loop turns any two cards in hand into infinite draw, infinite discard triggers, and a board full of 2/2 Zombies.

Zombie Infestation discards two cards to make a 2/2 Zombie token; because Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite pumps it to a 4/4, both Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising trigger off the same enter-the-battlefield event, returning two cards drawn for the two discarded. The loop sustains itself indefinitely as long as the draw keeps pace with the discard, which it does exactly. Abomination of Llanowar and Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver commanders love this line — every Zombie token feeds both the graveyard and the board simultaneously.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You have at least two cards in hand.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Zombie Infestation by discarding two cards, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
  2. When the Zombie enters the battlefield, Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising's second ability trigger, causing you to draw two cards.
  3. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite draw triggers; Infinite rummaging; Infinite self-discard triggers; Near-infinite creature tokens; Near-infinite ETB

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Either Elemental Bond or Garruk's Uprising alone breaks the loop — both are required because each draws only one card per trigger, and the discard cost is two. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is the non-negotiable piece here; without the +2/+2 pump, the tokens enter as 2/2s and neither draw enchantment triggers on a creature with power 4 or greater. Altar of Dementia or Zulaport Cutthroat closes the game once tokens accumulate near-infinitely.
