Phyrexian Altar converts Gixian Puppeteer into the black mana that pays for Doomed Necromancer's activation; Gixian Puppeteer's death trigger returns Necromancer to the battlefield, Lightning Greaves equips for free to give it haste and shroud, and Necromancer sacrifices itself to return Puppeteer. The loop asks for no additional resources once the four pieces are assembled — every iteration produces a clean death trigger, a sacrifice trigger, an ETB, and an LTB. Ashnod's Altar replaces Phyrexian Altar if colorless mana is acceptable and the deck also needs infinite colorless. The loop produces no damage or card draw on its own — pair it with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Corpse Knight as the drain-out closer; without one of those in play the loop is a trigger generator that needs a second outlet to actually kill.
