Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward + Scrollshift + Eternal Witness
3-card combo · GW
Verdict
Yes — this 3-card loop generates infinite card draw and a near-infinite army of 1/1 Soldiers in any green-white value shell that can float mana through the blink.

Scrollshift blinks Abdel Adrian, which pops Eternal Witness back onto the battlefield to reclaim Scrollshift from the graveyard; the mana-producing permanents return at the same time, ready to float into the next iteration. Every loop also exiles and returns each mana source and Eternal Witness through Abdel Adrian's trigger, printing a Soldier token for each, so the board scales geometrically as the loop runs. This is the bread-and-butter line for Abdel Adrian as commander, leaning into white's flicker density and green's ramp base.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
You have any number of other nonland permanents that enter the battlefield untapped, and that can collectively tap to produce enough mana to cast Scrollshift exiled by Abdel Adrian.
02
Steps
- Cast Scrollshift by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
- Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Eternal Witness and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
- Abdel Adrian and Eternal Witness trigger.
- Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Scrollshift from your graveyard to your hand.
- Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Scrollshift.
- Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Eternal Witness and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
- Repeat.

Result
Infinite card draw; Near-infinite ETB; Infinite draw triggers; Near-infinite storm count; Near-infinite LTB; Near-infinite magecraft triggers; Near-infinite creature tokens; Near-infinite blinking of nonland permanents you control
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Eternal Witness can be swapped for Timeless Witness if haste matters or Regrowth fills the recursion slot in a pinch, though the loop needs a creature-based Scrollshift retrieval to stay tight. The token flood closes the game cleanly on its own, but pairing the loop with Impact Tremors or Purphoros, God of the Forge — splash notwithstanding — or a sacrifice outlet feeding Zulaport Cutthroat handles tables with fog effects or board wipes that otherwise stall the alpha strike.
