Daydream blinks Abdel Adrian, who returns Eternal Witness on reentry; Eternal Witness recovers Daydream, and tapping mana producers before Abdel Adrian's exile trigger resolves converts them into Soldier tokens while funding the next cast. The loop snowballs its own token count every cycle, giving green-white value shells a clean infinite-token kill that doubles as an infinite ETB engine for anything riding those triggers.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
You have any number of other nonland permanents that enter the battlefield untapped, and that can collectively tap to produce enough mana to cast Daydream exiled by Abdel Adrian.
02
Steps
- Cast Daydream by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
- Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Eternal Witness and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
- Abdel Adrian and Eternal Witness trigger.
- Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Daydream from your graveyard to your hand.
- Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Daydream.
- Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Eternal Witness and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
- Repeat.
03
Result
Infinite ETB; Infinite LTB; Infinite blinking of nonland permanents; Infinite creature tokens; Infinite magecraft triggers; Infinite storm count
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Abdel Adrian pairs with any flicker piece — Ephemerate or Ghostly Flicker can substitute for Daydream if the goal is a single blink, but only Daydream's magecraft-adjacent storm count and recursive hand loop keep the engine self-contained. Close with Impact Tremors or Altar of Dementia to convert the infinite tokens into a table kill; without a damage outlet the tokens are lethal only in combat.
