Spellweaver Volute turns every instant you cast into a free copy of any sorcery in your graveyard — the engine is absurd once it's running. The cost is setup: you need an enchanted instant in your graveyard before the trigger fires, and Pull from Eternity is one of the cleanest ways to recover a piece that got countered or discarded on the way there.

Commander is where Spellweaver Volute actually gets to live — the longer game gives you time to stock the graveyard, find the Volute, and start chaining free sorceries off every instant you cast. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but too slow and too conditional; those formats want to win before a five-mana enchantment with setup prerequisites resolves. Modern is theoretically legal but the same problem applies, and the graveyard hate those formats pack routinely dismantles the engine mid-chain. Spellweaver Volute is a Commander card through and through — treat it as such.
