Psychic Pickpocket
Creature — Octopus Rogue
When this creature enters, it connives. When it connives this way, return up to one target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. (To have a creature connive, draw a card, then discard a card. If you discarded a nonland card, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.)

Psychic Pickpocket lets you copy an opponent's instant or sorcery from their graveyard and exile it — repeatable grave-hate stapled to spell theft, on a two-mana body. The cost is real: you need the Zombie type or an enabler like Rooftop Storm to loop it, and it does nothing without a target graveyard worth raiding.

Commander is where Psychic Pickpocket earns its slot — graveyard-heavy tables mean targets are plentiful, and Zombie tribal shells can loop it for free with the right setup. In competitive 1v1 formats like Legacy and Vintage, a 2/2 that requires setup to reuse simply can't compete with the raw efficiency of dedicated graveyard hate. Modern and Pioneer players have cheaper, faster options for grave interaction that don't ask for a creature to stick on board. Psychic Pickpocket is a Commander card through and through.

Current price
$0.08 bulk tier
At $0.08, Psychic Pickpocket is deep bulk — easy to pick up in any common box or throw into an order as a free inclusion. That price is unlikely to climb unless a dedicated Zombie combo deck pushes demand, so grab it now and don't think twice about the cost.
