Paraselene wipes every enchantment off the board and pays you life equal to the number it destroys — it's a one-sided reset against enchantment-heavy pods that also cushions your life total. At three mana with no conditions, it does more practical work than Fractured Identity in metas where Sagas, Rhystic Studies, and Smothering Tithes stack up.

Commander is where Paraselene earns its slot — enchantments are everywhere, from pillowfort staples to combo enablers, and three mana for a full sweep that gains you life is a real rate in a four-player game. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but never played; dedicated enchantment hate that survives competitive those formats needs to be cheaper or more surgical than a three-mana sorcery. Paraselene is a Commander card through and through, and in enchantment-dense metas it punishes the table while keeping you healthy enough to close.

Current price
$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Paraselene is deep bulk — it costs less than a sleeve. The price reflects low demand rather than low power; it holds its floor because there's no competitive format pulling copies out of circulation.
