In Commander, Nissa, Who Shakes the World is a staple — doubling Forest mana is generically powerful enough to slot into nearly any green deck, and her static ability means the value starts the turn she enters rather than a turn later. In Pioneer, she was a defining card during her Standard tenure and still sees occasional play in ramp shells that want to convert early accelerants into a fast, game-ending ultimate. Modern and Legacy have access to faster and more redundant mana engines, so Nissa faces stiff competition there and rarely makes the cut outside of dedicated Forests-matter builds. Oathbreaker is another strong home, where the more focused, smaller format lets her ultimate end games quickly.
