Jolrael, Voice of Zhalfir turns every land drop into a 1/1 Bird token and rewards you for drawing multiple cards in a turn by animating your entire forest base into a lethal attack force. The cost — two mana and a setup-heavy draw requirement — is real, but Jyoti, Moag Ancient decks hit both triggers almost incidentally, making Jolrael one of the most naturally embedded engines in that archetype.

Commander is where Jolrael, Voice of Zhalfir actually lives — the card rewards incremental land play and multi-draw turns over a long game, and a 60-card format rarely gives it the time to matter. In Modern and Legacy it's legal but competes with faster, more linear payoffs; no serious shell has emerged to support it in either format.
