Mogg Fanatic

In Commander, Mogg Fanatic is a role-player in Goblin combo decks, not a generic inclusion — it earns its slot specifically in loops that need a low-cost sacrifice outlet with a triggered damage effect. In Legacy, it sees fringe play as a one-mana answer to Delver of Secrets and Deathrite Shaman, though Goblin Lackey and friends have long pushed it to the margins of Goblin tribal lists. Pauper is where Mogg Fanatic gets the most work as a clean way to trade up on small creatures and close damage gaps. Modern has largely left it behind — one damage for one mana at sorcery-equivalent speed doesn't compete with current rate cards. Vintage allows it but ignores it entirely.
