March of the Canonized dumps a swarm of 1/1 white Vampire creature tokens onto the board — as many as you have nontoken Vampires in play — and every one of them flies and has lifelink. The cost is paying X white mana plus one, where X is the number of tokens you want, but Clavileño, First of the Blessed turns each of those tokens into a draw trigger waiting to happen, so the math tilts heavily in your favor.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Clavileño, First of the Blessed
Clavileño, First of the Blessed turns every flying Vampire token March of the Canonized creates into a death-triggered card draw engine, so a single cast mid-combat can flood the board and set up multiple draw triggers in one swing.

Elenda, the Dusk Rose
Elenda, the Dusk Rose scales on creatures dying, and March of the Canonized provides a wide board of expendable tokens that can be sacrificed or traded in combat to stack counters on her rapidly.

Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher
Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher gains counters whenever creatures leave graveyards, and March of the Canonized provides a sacrificial token army that feeds that engine while also threatening in the air.

Will, Scion of Peace
Will, Scion of Peace reduces spell costs based on life gained, and March of the Canonized's lifelink tokens can generate enough life in a single attack step to make subsequent spells dramatically cheaper.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
March of the Canonized is a Commander card through and through — it's legal in Commander, Oathbreaker, Legacy, and Vintage, but absent from Modern, Pioneer, Standard, and Pauper, and the formats where it is technically legal outside Commander simply have no competitive context for a token-generation spell at this mana investment. In Commander, it lands best in Vampire tribal decks where a nontoken count of five or more makes the X cost reasonable and the flying lifelink tokens immediately relevant. Legacy and Vintage have access to it in theory, but neither format is in the market for a sorcery-speed token spell at this rate.

$0.25 bulk tier
At $0.25, March of the Canonized is deep bulk — easy to pick up as a throw-in or cheap single. Given its near-exclusive home in Clavileño, First of the Blessed lists and other Vampire tribal builds, it's unlikely to climb unless one of those commanders spikes in popularity.
