In Commander, Kaya's Wrath is a solid role-player — not the premier wipe, but a reliable one in any Orzhov or four-color shell that can hit the pip requirements. Modern and Pioneer have largely moved past it; four mana is a lot to ask in those formats when the board state you're answering often kills you first. Legacy and Vintage are too fast for a four-mana sorcery with no additional upside beyond life gain. Kaya's Wrath belongs in Commander, and essentially only Commander.
