Orah, Skyclave Hierophant turns every Cleric death into a free recursive chain — when any Cleric you control dies, you get back a cheaper one from your graveyard, which means a board wipe refills your board instead of ending your game. The cost is real: you're locked into a tribal shell, and a single graveyard wipe dismantles the whole engine, but within those constraints Orah is one of the most resilient value engines in Orzhov.

Commander is the only format where Orah, Skyclave Hierophant is actually the point — running it as the commander of a Cleric tribal deck is the build, and it's a legitimate one with a deep enough card pool to support consistent combo finishes. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer it's legal but essentially invisible; Cleric tribal has no competitive foothold in those formats, and four mana is too slow for anything that isn't a commander game.
