Electropotence

Electropotence is a Commander card through and through — the three-mana enchantment with no immediate impact needs the long game and repeated creature deployment that multiplayer provides to generate real value. In Legacy and Vintage, it's technically legal but competes with formats that kill on turn one or two, leaving Electropotence far too slow to matter. Modern is similarly hostile; the format's aggro and combo density means a do-nothing enchantment on turn three is a liability. Commander is where it earns its slot, particularly in red creature-storm and big-power shells where the cumulative damage output across a full table of opponents adds up fast.
