Druid's Familiar enters as a 4/4 or bigger the moment you pair it with another creature via soulbond, and that permanent size boost is the whole reason to run it. In Ayula, Queen Among Bears and Henry Wu, InGen Geneticist builds that want large-bodied bears doing large-body things, it punches well above a five-mana slot — but outside dedicated +1/+1 counter or soulbond synergy shells, it's just an overcosted vanilla.
