Dingus Egg makes every land destruction spell deal 2 damage to the owner — a static punishment that compounds fast when you're blowing up multiple lands per turn. Zo-Zu the Punisher already taxes players for playing lands; pair them and you're draining opponents on both axes simultaneously.

Zo-Zu the Punisher
Zo-Zu the Punisher is the natural home for Dingus Egg — Zo-Zu punishes lands entering play, the Egg punishes lands leaving it, and together they bracket every land-based action an opponent takes with a damage trigger.

In Commander, Dingus Egg is a niche piece in dedicated land destruction or stax builds — it does nothing without a gameplan to kill lands, but in the right shell it punishes every Wasteland activation, every Armageddon, every Strip Mine across three opponents at once. Legacy and Vintage have access to the land destruction necessary to make it sting, but dedicated land-kill decks are rare there and Dingus Egg never cracked either format's competitive scene. Modern can run it legally, though the payoff is too slow and conditional to see serious play.

Price Context
Current price
$0.57 bulk tier
At $0.57, Dingus Egg is pure bulk — low demand keeps it there, and nothing on the horizon changes that. It's an easy inclusion for the penny bin of any land destruction Commander build.
