Cyberdrive Awakener turns every artifact you control into a flying threat the turn it resolves — that's immediate, board-wide pressure for six mana. The cost is real, but in artifact-heavy shells running Aetherflux Reservoir or Inspirit, Flagship Vessel, you're rarely casting this into fewer than five artifacts, which means the air is yours the moment it lands.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Inspirit, Flagship Vessel
Inspirit, Flagship Vessel is an artifact-token generator at its core, and Cyberdrive Awakener converts that wide board into a lethal air force in one shot — over 68% of Inspirit decks already run it for exactly that reason.

Dr. Eggman
Dr. Eggman floods the board with artifact tokens as part of his game plan, and Cyberdrive Awakener is the payoff that turns all those small pieces into a flying alpha strike.

Aloy, Savior of Meridian
Aloy, Savior of Meridian builds up artifacts steadily through her ability, and Cyberdrive Awakener is the finisher that cashes in all that accumulated board state for a lethal swing through the air.

Kotori, Pilot Prodigy
Kotori, Pilot Prodigy cares about crewing Vehicles, and Cyberdrive Awakener gives every artifact on the board flying — including Vehicles already in combat — turning a wide crew-heavy board into a sky full of threats.

Kilo, Apogee Mind
Kilo, Apogee Mind generates artifacts as part of its value loop, and Cyberdrive Awakener punishes opponents who let that artifact count climb by ending the game from the air in a single turn.

Cyberdrive Awakener is a Commander card through and through — the artifact-count payoff scales with the longer game and wider boards that 100-card multiplayer naturally produces. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but has never found a foothold; six mana is a lifetime in those formats, and the effect doesn't interact with the blue-based artifact strategies that actually see play there. Oathbreaker offers a tighter, faster game where Cyberdrive Awakener can still close out a stalled board, though it sees minimal play outside of dedicated artifact commanders. Commander is where it belongs: find the right artifact commander, resolve it once, swing for lethal.

$1.84 cheap tier
At $1.84, Cyberdrive Awakener sits firmly in budget territory — cheap enough to include without a second thought in any artifact Commander build. Demand is high enough across multiple popular commanders that the price is unlikely to crater further, making this a safe pickup whenever you need it.
