Avid Reclaimer card art
Avid Reclaimer puts a land directly onto the battlefield whenever a Druid enters under your control — the effect is immediate and repeatable, not a trigger you have to work to activate. The cost is tribal dependency: outside a dedicated Druid shell, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is a more flexible way to generate value from green permanents.

Format Analysis

Where it lives, where it can’t

Commander is the only format where Avid Reclaimer earns a slot, and only in Druid-tribal builds — the payoff compounds fast when you're deploying multiple Druids per turn, but a single-creature board makes it a vanilla 1/1 with upside you'll never see. In competitive 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, it's too slow and too conditional to compete with the land-ramp spells already available at the same mana cost. Legacy and Vintage aren't going to look twice at a creature whose ability requires tribal setup. Stick to Commander Druid decks and nowhere else.

Price Context

Current price

$0.11 bulk tier

At $0.11, Avid Reclaimer is deep bulk — you're not paying a premium for anything here. It holds that price floor confidently because demand is narrow, but there's no reason to hesitate picking up copies if you're building the right deck.
