Aspect of Gorgon is legal across every competitive format but earns its keep almost exclusively in Commander, where the Kelsien, the Plague engine makes it a genuine engine piece rather than a marginal combat trick. In Pauper it's technically playable but too narrow — deathtouch grants are usually outclassed by creatures that already have it. Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer have no shells that want a sorcery-speed enchantment doing this job when better options exist at similar cost. Commander is the one home where the instant-speed version matters and the payoff is worth the slot.
