All-Out Assault
Enchantment
Creatures you control get +1/+1 and have deathtouch.
When this enchantment enters, if it's your main phase, there is an additional combat phase after this phase followed by an additional main phase. When you next attack this turn, untap each creature you control.

All-Out Assault gives your entire attacking team an extra combat step, which is as backbreaking as it sounds when commanders like Zurgo, Thunder's Decree are swinging with multiple creatures that snowball on each attack. The cost — one red mana at instant speed — is almost insultingly low for what it delivers, and that's the verdict: it overperforms its price tag by a wide margin.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Zurgo, Thunder's Decree
Zurgo, Thunder's Decree is built to stack damage triggers across multiple attacks, and All-Out Assault doubles the opportunities in a single turn — every creature that swings gets a second crack at activating Zurgo's punish effects before opponents can stabilize.

Neriv, Heart of the Storm
Neriv, Heart of the Storm wants as many attack triggers as possible to generate value off instants and sorceries, and All-Out Assault delivers a free second wave in the same turn without requiring any additional mana investment beyond the card itself.

Zurgo Stormrender
Zurgo Stormrender rewards aggressive all-in attacks, and All-Out Assault lets the team hit twice before blockers can be rebuilt or removal can land at sorcery speed.

Kelsien, the Plague
Kelsien, the Plague untaps when it kills a creature, and All-Out Assault opens a second combat where Kelsien can tap again — effectively doubling the kill count and untap triggers in a single turn.

Neriv, Crackling Vanguard
Neriv, Crackling Vanguard scales off repeated attacks, and All-Out Assault squeezes a second combat into the turn cycle, multiplying the triggers Neriv needs to build a dominant board.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
All-Out Assault is legal across every major constructed format but barely registers outside Commander, where the card simply does too little for how much tempo it costs in a 20-life game. In Commander, it's a genuine role-player — decks that care about combat triggers, untap effects, or sheer damage output treat it as a one-mana haymaker that can end games out of nowhere. Oathbreaker offers a similar home for the same reasons. Modern and Pioneer have access to it on paper, but extra-combat effects compete with faster, more redundant threats in those formats and rarely make the cut.

Current price
$2.76 cheap tier
At $2.76, All-Out Assault sits in the cheap tier and punches well above that price point given its near-instant-speed, one-mana cost in a mechanic — extra combats — that usually demands four or five mana. It's a low-risk pickup that holds utility across any aggressive Commander build that runs red.
