One with the Kami replaces the sacrificed creature with a swarm of Spirit tokens equal to its power; Lightning Greaves equips to the next token for free, feeding it straight back into Phyrexian Altar. The combo rewards running high-power creatures — a 5/5 produces five Spirits per loop, so a Craterhoof Behemoth or Ghalta, Primal Hunger as the host snowballs the token count while the engine runs.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

One with the Kami attached to any creature you control. Lightning Greaves attached to any creature you control except the creature with One with the Kami attached.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature with Lightning Greaves attached, adding one mana of any color.
  2. One with the Kami triggers, creating a number of 1/1 Spirit creature tokens equal to that creature's power.
  3. Activate Lightning Greaves's equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to a Spirit token.
  4. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite colored mana; Infinite death triggers; Infinite ETB; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Ashnod's Altar substitutes for Phyrexian Altar if colorless mana is sufficient, though it loses the color flexibility. Visceral Tribute, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Altar of Dementia close the loop — the engine produces infinite tokens and death triggers but needs a payoff sitting on the battlefield to convert that into a win.
