3-card combo · G

Verdict

Yes — this 3-card loop produces infinite green mana and infinite death triggers as long as five Forests stay on the battlefield.

Llanowar Druid taps and sacrifices itself to untap all Forests; Nim Deathmantle triggers on death and spends 4 of the 5 green produced to return it immediately, netting one green per cycle. Lightning Greaves equips at 0 to give Llanowar Druid haste the instant it re-enters, making the loop self-sustaining without any additional untap effects. This fits cleanly into mono-green Forests-matter builds around commanders like Ashaya, Soul of the Wild or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You control at least five Forests.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Lightning Greaves' equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Llanowar Druid.
  2. Activate five Forests by tapping them, adding {G}{G}{G}{G}{G}.
  3. Activate Llanowar Druid by tapping and sacrificing it.
  4. Llanowar Druid dies, triggering Nim Deathmantle, causing you to pay {4} to return Llanowar Druid from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  5. Resolve the Llanowar Druid ability from step 3, untapping all Forests.
  6. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite death triggers; Infinite ETB; Infinite green mana; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers; Infinite untap of Forests you control

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Swiftfoot Boots is a direct swap for Lightning Greaves if shroud creates targeting problems, though the equip cost rises to 1. Infinite mana alone doesn't close the game — add Finale of Devastation, Walking Ballista, or a Craterhoof Behemoth already on the battlefield to convert the engine into a win.
