Myr Propagator's activated ability costs 3 to copy itself; Primal Vigor doubles that single token into two, so sacrificing the tapped Propagator and one token to Krark-Clan Ironworks returns four colorless — one mana net positive per loop. Lightning Greaves is the linchpin: it grants haste so the freshly created Myr Propagator token can tap immediately on the same turn the loop begins, bypassing the summoning sickness that would otherwise stall the engine cold.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

02

Steps

  1. Activate Lightning Greaves' equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Myr Propagator.
  2. Activate Myr Propagator by paying {3} and tapping it, creating two token copies of itself.
  3. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks twice by sacrificing the tapped Myr Propagator and a Myr Propagator token, adding {C}{C}{C}{C}.
  4. Repeat.
  5. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Myr Propagator tokens.

03

Result

Infinite creature tokens; Infinite death triggers; Infinite ETB; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers; Infinite colorless mana

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Strionic Resonator can copy Myr Propagator's triggered ability in some builds, but Primal Vigor is the cleaner doubler here. Doubling Season replaces Primal Vigor for any green deck already running it — same function, more broadly useful. Walking Ballista or Goblin Cannon converts the infinite colorless mana into a kill; the engine itself ends the game in theory but needs a sink that fits a colorless-plus-green identity.
