Steps
- Deal combat damage to an opponent using Medomai the Ageless.
- Medomai the Ageless triggers, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
- Cast Idris by paying
. - When Idris enters the battlefield, it triggers, exiling Medomai the Ageless until Idris leaves the battlefield.
- Move to your extra turn.
- At the beginning of your upkeep, Idris's vanishing ability triggers, removing a time counter from it.

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Strionic Resonator can copy Medomai the Ageless's combat damage trigger if Idris or Karn's Bastion is unavailable, but that line doesn't produce infinite turns on its own. Any evasion enabler — Whispersilk Cloak, Aqueous Form, or mass-evasion from Thassa, God of the Sea — satisfies the blocking prerequisite more reliably than depending on an opponent's boardstate.
